10 EdgyPro Extension Features to Turn On for Edgenuity

Updated October 2026 6 min read EdgyPro Team

You added the EdgyPro extension, logged into Edgenuity, and now there's a menu with a few dozen switches. This is the tour: the ten features worth turning on, roughly in the order a new user should try them, with the one setting that matters most for each. Everything here works on Classic Edgenuity; Classic-only items are marked, and the menu itself shows a "Disabled on EdgeEx" group when you're on EdgeEx.

The starter set

  • Auto Advance with an Advance Delay of 5-20 seconds.
  • Auto Answers with a Grade Range (85-95% is popular).
  • Anti-Logout so the session survives while you're away.
  • Add AI Answers and Auto Instruction once those three feel right.

1. Auto Advance

The engine. When a video, page, question or activity is finished, Auto Advance presses Next for you, moves through the course map and, with Auto Start Next Class on, rolls into the next course when one ends. It holds Next until every visible question has a saved answer, so it never skips past something blank. Setting to change: Advance Delay. A 1-300 second pause before each advance keeps the pacing log looking like a person. Full Auto Advance guide.

2. Auto Answers (with Grade Range)

Fills quizzes, tests and assignments from EdgyPro's verified answer database. Three styles: Default selects the answers, Stealth reveals the right choice on hover, View highlights it and lets you click. Setting to change: Grade Range. Pick a band like 80-95% and EdgyPro answers a few questions wrong on purpose so your gradebook doesn't read like a robot's.

3. Auto Submit Delay

A test finished in 40 seconds is a flag. Auto Submit Delay holds a completed quiz or test for 1-60 minutes before submitting, with a countdown card so you know exactly when it fires. Pair it with Grade Range and the activity log looks like a focused student, not a script.

4. AI Answers and Essay Writer

Short-answer boxes, journal prompts and essays can't be looked up. AI Answers reads the question (and the linked passage or Online Content when there is one) and writes a response in the box; an Ask AI button under each question lets you ask follow-ups. On writing activities, Essay Writer drafts the whole thing, then makes it longer, shorter, simpler or more detailed on request, and the built-in humanizer rewrites it so it reads like a student wrote it. How the essay flow works.

5. Auto Instruction

Edgenuity's Warm-Up and Instruction activities are ungraded but mandatory. Auto Instruction works through them: picks real answers from the lesson, writes short responses from the passage, retries with a different pick when marked wrong, and presses Done. Setting to change: Realism Delay adds up to 30 seconds of "reading time" per page; leave it at 0 for the fastest run.

6. Video Skipper (EdgeEx) and Video Pre-Start (Classic)

On EdgeEx, Video Skipper plays each instruction video for the number of seconds you choose and then jumps to the end. Classic Edgenuity enforces video time on the server, so there EdgyPro offers Video Pre-Start instead: it starts the next video's clock while you're still on the questions before it, and marks videos done the moment Edgenuity's timer allows.

7. Auto Vocab and Language Activity Skipper

Auto Vocab completes Vocabulary activities, including Spanish, French and other language courses. Language Activity Skipper handles the speaking, listening and game activities those courses are full of, including Classic speaking tasks that want a voice recording. Graded speaking tests are left for you, with a notice so you know why.

8. Anti-Logout

Edgenuity logs you out after a stretch of inactivity, which ends an unattended Auto Advance run. Anti-Logout keeps the session alive. Turn it on and forget it.

9. Hide Personal Info and Hide Menu

Hide Personal Info blurs your name, course and school so screenshots and screen shares stay private. Hide Menu makes EdgyPro invisible on the page; Ctrl+Shift+H brings it back and Ctrl+Shift+R resets its position if you've dragged it somewhere odd.

10. Discord Logging

Paste your own Discord webhook into the menu and EdgyPro posts progress as it goes: activities completed, quiz scores, class finished, anything that needs you (a project upload, a locked activity, a proctored test). It's the easiest way to run a class on a Chromebook at home and check on it from your phone.
