Edgenuity Setup Shortcuts: Installing EdgyPro with Tampermonkey
Getting EdgyPro running on Edgenuity is genuinely quick — most students are done in under five minutes. This guide walks through the desktop setup with Tampermonkey, the mobile options for iOS, and how to redeem your key once everything's installed.
You'll need
- A supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Firefox, or Opera) on desktop — or Safari on iOS.
- The Tampermonkey extension (free).
- Your EdgyPro key from your purchase email.
Desktop Setup with Tampermonkey
Tampermonkey is a popular, trusted userscript manager — it's the engine that lets EdgyPro run on Edgenuity. Here's the full process:
- Install Tampermonkey. Add the Tampermonkey extension to your browser from its official store.
- Enable Developer Mode. In your browser's extensions settings, turn on Developer Mode (and "Allow User Scripts" if your browser prompts for it). This step prevents the most common install issues.
- Download EdgyPro. Head to the download page and grab the EdgyPro script.
- Import the script. Open the Tampermonkey dashboard, go to the
Utilitiestab, and import the downloadededgypro.user.jsfile. - Open Edgenuity and activate. Log into Edgenuity, open the EdgyPro menu, and enter your key.
Mobile & iPad Setup
On iOS you'll use a Safari userscript app instead of Tampermonkey. Two work well:
- Install a userscript app. Download Stay for Safari or Focus Script from the App Store.
- Add the EdgyPro script by URL. In the app, add a userscript using
https://edgypro.net/download/file. - Activate on Edgenuity. Open Edgenuity in Safari and enter your key in the EdgyPro menu.
