Is EdgyPro Safe & Legit? Detection, Privacy, Refunds & Reviews
Before you paste a script into your school account or type a card number into a site you found on Reddit, you should be asking whether it's safe. This page answers the questions we get asked most, plainly: can Edgenuity see it, what does the script actually have access to, what happens with your money, and where you can check what other students say. We'd rather you read this than guess.
In a nutshell
- EdgyPro is a readable browser userscript (plus an optional desktop app); it only runs on Edgenuity, Apex and Brainly pages.
- Edgenuity's pages don't scan for extensions; the risk is behaviour, which the delay and grade settings exist to manage.
- Payments go through Stripe and PayPal, there's a refund process, a $4.99 Day Key to test it on your own course, and public reviews.
Can Edgenuity Detect EdgyPro?
EdgyPro runs inside your own browser through Tampermonkey and does what a student does: watches the page, clicks Next, selects answers, types responses and presses Submit. Edgenuity's learning pages do not include an extension or userscript scanner, so there is nothing on the page that "sees" EdgyPro itself. What a teacher or an admin report can see is behaviour: a semester finished overnight, every quiz at 100%, forty pages flipped in a minute.
That's why the defaults matter. Advance Delay spaces page turns, Auto Submit Delay makes tests take minutes rather than seconds, and Grade Range misses a few questions on purpose. Used that way, the activity log looks like a focused student. Our detection guide goes deeper on what Edgenuity logs.
The exception is proctored tests. Proctorio does inspect the browser, enumerates extensions and watches your screen. The Tampermonkey version of EdgyPro is visible to it, and EdgyPro will tell you so and pause. For those you need the EdgyOne app, which runs Edgenuity in its own window where Proctorio's checks come back clean; how that works.
What the Script Can Access
- Where it runs: the userscript header lists the sites it loads on: Edgenuity's domains, Apex and Brainly. It does nothing on any other tab.
- What it reads: the Edgenuity page in front of you: questions, choices, your name and course titles (so it can blur them if you enable Hide Personal Info and so the key knows which account it's attached to).
- What it sends to EdgyPro: your key, the question content it needs an AI answer for, and verified answers it reads from completed activities, which is how the shared answer database grows. Discord logging only goes to a webhook you provide.
- What it never asks for: your Edgenuity password. Keys are redeemed inside the menu while you're already logged in.
- You can read it: the Tampermonkey editor shows the installed script. The menu code is loaded from api.edgypro.net so fixes reach everyone without reinstalling.
Is It a Virus?
No. A userscript is text that Tampermonkey runs in the browser sandbox; it can't touch files, install anything or run outside the pages listed in its header. The EdgyOne app is a normal Windows/Mac installer whose job is to open Edgenuity in an embedded browser with EdgyPro loaded. Both are updated through the site, not through links sent in DMs. If someone on Discord or TikTok sends you an "EdgyPro.exe" or a "cracked key generator", that is not us.
Payments, Keys and Refunds
- Checkout runs through Stripe or PayPal; EdgyPro never sees your full card number.
- Keys are delivered on the confirmation page and by email, and attach to your Edgenuity account when you redeem them in the menu. Day, Week, Month and Year keys are listed on the pricing page; Service Keys exist for people running a class-completion service.
- Refunds have their own request page; the terms of service spell out when they apply.
- Problems go to troubleshooting, the Discord, or [email protected]. The status page shows whether the API is up.
What Other Students Say
The reviews page collects public reviews, and the Discord is where you'll see real-time questions, bug reports and how fast they get answered. If a feature is broken on a given day (Edgenuity ships changes without warning), that's where you'll find out first.
How to Use It Responsibly
EdgyPro is a tool; the choices are yours. Stealth and View Answers modes let you attempt questions yourself and check against the answer. The Ask AI button gives you drafts you can rewrite. And the writing activities that matter most for a grade, the Rough Draft and Final Draft essays, are left to you on purpose. The complete Edgenuity guide is a good read if you want to actually understand the platform you're working through.
Safety FAQ
Can Edgenuity detect EdgyPro?
EdgyPro runs as a userscript in your browser and interacts with Edgenuity like a student would; the pages have no extension scanner. What gets noticed is behaviour, which the delay and grade settings manage. Proctored tests are different and need the EdgyOne app.
Is EdgyPro a virus or malware?
No. The Tampermonkey version is a readable JavaScript userscript that only runs on Edgenuity, Apex and Brainly pages; EdgyOne is a standard desktop installer for Windows and Mac. Only download from edgypro.net.
Can I try EdgyPro before paying?
The Day Key is the low-risk way in: $4.99 unlocks everything for 24 hours, so you can see it work on your own course before committing to a week or month. There's also a refund process if it doesn't work for you.
Will my key work on more than one device?
A key attaches to your Edgenuity account, so you can use it on a Chromebook at school and a laptop at home. Details are on the pricing page.
